Good stay in Tokyo value for money

The property was good value for money and very close the metro station with good views of the Tokyo Tower at night. We were barely there except to sleep! The bed is very comfy and the room was an okay size especially for Japan. Two people with two large suitcases could fit.

The decor is outdated and could use some modernising. But overall the hotel is fit for purpose.

Proximity to the Ryugokan and metro station. Rooms are comfortable, very good prices. View over the Skytree Tower was also very cool

A good option in Tokyo

Luggage storage, luggage receival and ensuring that luggage forwarded is kept in my room before checking in. The view from the room of the Tokyo Sky Tower was wonderful. Clean and at good location.

Front desk could smile a little bit while assisting. It's not only what but how which also impacts one's experience.

Location is good if you are interested in that area. It is also next to Ryogoku station Toei not JR) so it is convenient. Good size rooms.

It is interesting how the first contact with staff can change your impression. I have stayed at this hotel before. Previously at check in I was greeted by an older gentleman who was very courteous and pleasant. This time I was attended by a younger gentleman. I am uncertain whether it was a language issue but his demeanour was very hostile and his replies were very clipped and dismissive to the point where I actually said to him there was no need to be rude or offensive. As a result my impression was more negative although the room itself was good.

Great location and views, kombini across the street.

Great views, very comfortable bed. I was able to check in early, that was very helpful too, I was charged 1,000yen for the extra hour. The floor was quiet too. Also very convenient to the Ryogoku train station.

No laundry in the building, and there was quite a bit of dust behind the main door into the room.

May consider booking this hotel in our next travel to Tokyo.

Hotel staff are friendly, our room are cleaned daily and the SAKURA 25th floor eat all you can Japanese restaurant is awesome with a fair cost again with a friendly staff. The free bus return transfer to Disney Land is a plus. Thank you!

The location was great for our visit as we were attending a few days of the May Sumo Tournament. The staff were lovely, most spoke great English, but those that didn't were fantastic with trying to get the message across in Japanese or with the use of Google translate. Hotel was very clean and room got cleaned regularly. Had the Earthquake Temple next to the hotel which also has a playground and beautiful paths to walk if you need something for the kids or to be grounded in nature within the city.

The laundry prices are quite high, but there are several coin operated laundries in the area maybe only a block or two away.

Really nice view from the room (I took a room with Tokyo Skytree view). Staff was gentle and professional.

The hotel is a little worn-out and not as clean as you would expect from an establishment in Japan.

The stay was a pleasure. I enjoyed staying at this hotel. Amazing view, great room size and well maintained.

1. For the price that they offer, the room size is bigger than most hotels in Tokyo. I can easily put two of my luggages without obstruction. 2. It’s located right beside the Ryogoku Station, gate A1 and this station has escalators. 3. The hotel is a bit old in terms of the look BUT they are very well maintained. 4. My room 2428 view was the Tokyo Sky Tree. 5. The staffs were very helpful. 6. You can keep your luggage at the hotel if you are early for check in or check out. 7. There’s 7eleven just opposite the back entrance of the hotel.

1. Location wise, Ryogoku is a bit far from the most common places that you will visit while in Tokyo, therefore you will spend a bit more on train expenses, but that’s fine, the station is just beside the hotel so you will do less walking.
